Order of dances which included hora

We are going straight into our first dance after our grand entrance!

If you want to go straight into a dance, I think most people would do the couple's first dance. Then father/bride and mother/groom. Personally, I prefer the dances to be later. I don't care about watching you dance when I'm starving to death.

@brittany lol i thought about this when planning mine. I am going to do the dances after we eat dinner.

Ask your DJ; usually, first dance, then everyone joins in for another one, then the hora.

Personally, I like it when the parent dances are done later in the evening; too many in a row and no one pays attention.

I'm thinking of doing first dance, hora and then father/daughter, mother/son dances during first course. My DJ gave the idea of having everyone standing around the dance floor during your first dance so that everyone is actually paying attention to it. After that, the transition into the hora will be easy since everyone is already up!

Oh man, I hadn't even thought about where to time in the hora. I just assumed putting it on the DJ's must play/special dances list would be fine and he'd know when is best during the general dancing portion. I like Celia's idea of having it right in with the beginning dances.
