Order of bridesmaids

I will have 4 bridesmaids. My two sisters and FH's 2 sisters. His two sister with stand 3rd and 4 but I don't know what to do with my sisters. I will have a matron of honor and maid of honor. I am closer with the maid of honor, but I feel like it is more traditional to have the matron stand beside me.

Should I just make them flip a coin to see who stands beside me and who is second? It is hard to chose between sisters.

There's no real etiquette here, so it's entirely up to you. You can just tell them where to stand without giving a reason, you don't have to tell one sister you feel closer to the other. If standing second in line truly bothers her, she will have to get over it.

I didn’t want to make a decision on the order so after the maid of honor mine are just standing from shortest to tallest. I guess that’s a little different with only 2 but you could tell them you like the look of a certain order better based on height

I'd put the 2 MOHs in height order, then the other BM in height order (shortest to tallest).

Hey Madison! Have you given this much more thought? I know it may seem like a task that you need to get it out of the way but there is no real etiquette for this. You can just decide who is standing where and let your BM's know. There is no need for you to rationalize your decisions to your BM's and they probably won't ask 'why do I have to stand here?'
You could always organize them by height but that it entirely personal preference.
