So I want to do a single or double tent entrance but my venue charges a ridiculous amount for it which frankly I have, but would NEVER spend it for JUST an entrance. I was thinking of getting an arch bar which happens to be the same height and length as the tent entrance and I would put draping and floral. My question is do you think it would look weird/out of place/ not got right?
Pictured below are what my venue would charge and the other picture is what so would DIY.Opinions 1

The photos of what your venue can do is gorgeous! If you think you can make it look like that, I say do it yourself to save the money. However, if you don't think you can make it look similar to those photos, I would splurge on maybe the single entrance.

Yeah, I mean I know i can execute the look, but I’m wondering because it’s not attached to the tent if it might look like too much of a gap between the actual tent and the arch thing. But thanks for the advice this helps

Can you order a arch that is the same height as the tent? That way there is no gap.

Also now I’m thinking about the tents sides will all be open, unless it rains. Should I even bother with an entrance? It might look out of place or make the tent look unfinished.

I know, I’m just hoping the things that hold down the actual tent don’t interfere with the legs of the diy arch thing. If do the diy arch thing may have to come forward a bit and I’m just wondering if it might look weird If there’s a gap instead of fitting to the tent if they makes sense

We had a tent and thankfully did not rain and all sides were open; I would not mess with an entrance...

Yeah I’m thinking that. It looks so nice in photos, but then I think to myself, people probably won’t even use the entrance seeing as how it’s open on all sides so really it’s like what’s the point
