I need help!! I went to David’s bridal yesterday and I think I found THE dress but I’m still on the fence. It was a little big in the bust area and I would like to poof it out slightly bit more but I had a comment said that “it makes me look bigger then I am and it’s already too poofy” (which isn’t a thing there’s never to much poof) but 😩 just that comment makes me rethink it. Im having a Cinderella themed wedding, carriage centerpieces, glass slipper seating arraignments, and out colors are light blue, white and silver. Thanks so much brides!!!

Girl that dress isn't for everyone - I actually picked it out originally and then decided that I wasn't a fan of the color - but you make it work!!! I like your fierce little stance too. You can always see about a hoop skirt and well, though that might be overkill.

I didn’t think I liked the color of it at first but I actually didn’t mind it when it was on me but I know what you mean but thank you. Hahaha thank you! I’m thinking maybe a medium fullness skirt because I don’t want it to big but I think it needs a little more.

I will say, research that dress before you go back to them and buy it. I did some before I realized I could exchange it, and most sizes are available for a fraction of the cost David's Bridal is asking for. Stillwhite, poshmark, preownedweddingdress.com all have good deals!

I’ve been on there and looked but never found my size so I’ll have to maybe look again and go from there. But I might just go back to David’s to try it on with the poofer to make sure I like how it looks

I remember seeing a lot of 20/22. You can maybe see about getting a corset back put into a 20? That also finishes out the Cinderella look.

Hhmm maybe. I was reading comments on the dress David’s bridal website and the one women said she regretted putting in a career because she couldn’t sit and it was comfortable. I did think of that tho but I would have to weight the pros and cons of just taking it in rather then putting a corset back in.

I think this dress looks stunning on you!! You can always get it better fitted in the bust region!! I love your princess themed wedding!! That would look so pretty!! I think the extra poof is perfect for what you envision!!

My dress had a similar skirt and I loved it! Granted, I cut out the layer of criglon underneath, but it still had a lot of volume.

I honestly didn't like the bustle but it eventually fell out and didn't notice. Either the bustle wasn't sewn in right or my girls didn't put it up right. Either way didn't really care as my skirt had a small sweep train anyways.

Oohh okay I haven’t seen any bustles with a ruffle skirt so I was wondering how it would look I’ll have to do more research. This has a descent size train so i definitely would have to have it up and stay up
