open bar count

Marissa, on August 17, 2017 at 12:43 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4

So I'm planning on having my reception at a restaurant that can hold about 100 people my total for the entire wedding reception is 93 and that includes 3 vendors.

my question is this the open bar charges per person per hour. do i give them a total of 93 or a total of 81( no kids and no vendors)?? im trying to figure out what my total would be.

Probably best to ask your venue if kids and vendors get included in that total, i would assume not but better to check first

Ask the vendor. Some places make you count kids but they are half the price.

I would ask the venue. At my venue, vendors and anyone under 21 are not counted in the bar tab.

Does your contract make a distinction between soft drinks, beer, wine, and liquor? And what about vendors who will be there for the entirety of the event? Typically they get a vendor meal, not a drink from the bar, unless the PP charge includes soft drinks.

I'd suggest you pull out your contract or get on the phone tomorrow. We can only guess -- they can tell you the answer.
