Have you ever considered an Opal ring for your engagement? When it comes to Opal rings, there are so many options, styles & designs to choose from. I'm also a huge fan of Opal jewellery because of the breathtaking beauty of this gemstone. Well, I'm considering b buying a black Opal ring set in rose gold with diamonds.

Where I’m from, Opal engagement rings are traditionally considered bad luck. The practical reason for that is that Opal is a soft stone, so easily damaged / not hardwearing. But if you love Opals and aren’t worried about them being ‘soft’ go for it!

I have an opal and LOVE it. I initially worried about taking care of it, but I've gotten in the habit of taking off before showering or doing dishes, and when I sleep. I'm obsessed, people warned against it but I couldn't be happier! I also made sure to talk to the person my Fiance bought the opal from and made sure I knew everything I needed to about taking care of it.

As long as you are committed to taking care of it, then get what you want! They are a lot less durable than more traditional gemstones, but very very pretty!
