Online wedding shower

MrsJD4Life, on July 18, 2011 at 10:48 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4

My niece is getting married and I am her Maitron of honor. I wanna plan her bridal shower but alot of people who would be invited are out of town and out of state. I would like to throw her an online bridal shower including her and her partner (lesbians). Any advice on where I can start?

Not sure. That would mwan all the guests would need to have acess to the internet and skype. I'm not familiar with skype, but don't you have to pay to use it?

That's a tough one, I don't know. Yahoo video messenger and MSN live is free, don't know how many people can be on at one time but they're free

I'd probably just skipped it or maybe do it the night before the wedding, I'm sure everyone will be in town by then, right?

No you dont pay to use skype- at least not the version my Fh's grandpa uses. He keeps trying to make us get it so we can "talk for free" he wants us to drop our cell phones! HA that will never happen!

havent read this yet- but just did a little google search

Pampered Chef does bridal showers, and you can invite people online and they can even order online too. This way, those in the area could come to one, and those that can't make it can just order online. Just talk to a consultant in your area.

My MOH put one together for me and I loved it! Not only were people able to buy gifts for me off of my wish list, but they were able to buy things for themselves, and I got extra benefits based on how much the guests spent.
