Online RSVP?

Ashley, on July 27, 2014 at 10:39 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 27

Has anyone used the RSVP on weddingwire? How did it work for you? We are thinking about it as most of our guests are younger/tech saavy people. Thinking people may RSVP quicker if it's super easy? Thanks!!

I have it set up but seeing as how I'm nowhere near sending my invites out I really can't say how successful it would be. I did try it out, though, to see just how easy it was and it was fairly easy too. Do I think a lot of people will use once the invite so out...no. That's just my opinion though.

I had this set up a while back and worked OK but recently just tested it now that I am ready to activate that feature but couldn't get it to work. So I am now using anrsvp.com instead. I needed something simple and the ability to specify the # of guests with out having to list all names in a household and didn't have time to mess around with it anymore.

We are using it for our wedding which is coming up quickly. We wanted to use the option for our tech savvy attendees as well but because we know that many attending will also be uncomfortable using tech, we included RSVP cards as well. It is a little cumbersome having to do both but we felt it is important to have both options for all of our guests. We are just taking the mailed RSVP cards and adding them to the website list. Our file uploaded very well and so far many have used it.

We are using it exclusively. I sent out my invites 1 week ago with an 8/30 RSVP date and 34 out of 150 people have RSVP'd so far. Seems like it's working fine to me!

We're using it. We've supplied our guests w/ our email address too just in case, but so far it's been good.

We used the online RSVP exclusively (we also provided a phone number guests could call, but nobody used it). It worked out wonderfully!

I did and it was pretty easy to set up and very easy to use. I still had an awful response rate, like 25%, but I think that was just my people and not the site. I got a lot of "You know I'm coming, why do I need to RSVP?" But it was nice, because I could just enter their name and RSVP for them. I like the running tallies it kept, as well.

I am using it exclusively and so far so good. I started handing out & mailing our 100 (equals 212 people including all kids) invites a week ago & we have 14 accepts and 4 declines so far. My deadline isn't for 2 more weeks.

My 94 year old non-techy grandma navigated it just fine, although she wasn't quite confident it'd gone through so she also sent me an emailSmiley smile

I absolutely love it! Everyone seems to be fine using it and the reports I can print are amazing and helpful.

We set it up but I'm finding most people are just texting me instead of going onto the website to rsvp.

I set it all up and then decided to not use it-it had a limit of how many activities people could RSVP to...and I needed more options. Smiley smile Instead we are using the contact page (renamed it contact and RSVP). So far it is working awesomely!

We're using it as well as paper RSVP's for people who prefer it the old fashioned way. So far we've had one couple RSVP online and it seems to work out ok so far!

It's really hard to say. I did the WW RSVP thinking it would be easier for a lot of people but I still got a half and half amount of just people e-mailing me to WW RSVP to just verbal RSVP.

Ohhh didn't see this and I just started a thread about it. I use it exclusively and have been having issues with it. People that rsvp'd are getting put back on the no response list somehow. It's impossible for me to keep track. My only saving grace is that I have an excel spreadsheet set up and compare that to the WW site daily. It's aggravating. I wish I would have done paper rsvp's.

Also. Deadline is 9/4 and we have 67 yesses and 11 declines. 80 something no responses.

We are using it a like it. However I must say there is something special about getting the RSVP in the mail. I did not think it would matter but some of our guest have put nice notes on the RSVP they returned.

I am except we are using mywedding.com for our website and guests will do it there. Idk how it will work, but I'm cheap and didn't want to foot the bills for more stamps that might get wasted. I'm prepared to call a lot of people too.

My first wedding we had a site through mywedding.com and had our guests RSVP there. We also sent RSVP cards as part of our invitations, without stamps. THose who wanted to mail them in bought their own postage
