ONLINE RSVP Wording

Kristin & Jason, on January 3, 2011 at 11:49 AM Posted in Planning 0 5

Hey all,

We are utilizing WeddingWire's online RSVP option to save money and paper with our response cards (not to mention stamps!). I was just wondering what those of you who did the online RSVPs used as wording on your response cards.

I want to make sure my guests know that this is a formal event, but that they need to go online to RSVP.

THANKS!

Hey lady! OK. So I'm sending paper invites to parentals and special family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, and older family friends). For those individuals, I actually found a really cute/inexpensive/unique Papaya invitation set that has an envelope and notecard inside. I'm going to put our wedding invitation inside and use their notecard to stick on a label that reads something like: We request that you RSVP to the Mother of the Bride at 123-4567 or electronically at our wedding website: www.weddingwire.com/##. Hope that helps some! Smiley winking

Some people may not have access to a computer. You may want to provide a phone number too. You can get a google voice number that is forwarded directly to a voicemail message.

"A favor of a reply is requested before October 8, 2011 at http://www.rsvp.asp"

"Please respond on or before April 8, 2002 at http://www.rsvp.asp"

"We look forward to seeing you! Kindly respond on or before October 8, 2011 at http://www.rsvp.asp"

"The favour of your reply is requested via our online RSVP October 8, 2011, at: http://www./rsvp.asp password: truelove."

I'd strongly discourage using the online RSVP as the only way of RSVPing. You want a formal event, yet want to use an informal RSVP system...

If you refuse to use the paper/envelopes/stamps- include a phone number and keep the spreadsheet with you to make off guests when they call.

I foresee you making ALOT of phone calls 3-4 weeks prior to the wedding becaue people didn't RSVP.
