Online Printing Services

Angela, on February 26, 2020 at 11:47 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 8
Thinking of saving money and either having a friend create our invites/other stationary suite or purchasing a suite off Etsy. What are some online printing services you all have used and would recommend based on quality of paper, price, and being true to colors/design? I have looked at moo.com, printrunners.com, and printplace.com so far.

BasicInvite.com printed ours. I think they have a 15% off code on the site right now. Great quality. No regrets.

I’m going to stables tomorrow so hopefully good news! I don’t want to worry about something getting wrecked with shipping with the sizes I’m wanting

We got a template off Etsy and had them printed at a print store called Pip printing. The template was $10 and the printing was 50 cents per invite so it saved a lot of money! The quality of the template and the printing were great!

We're ordering ours from catprint.com it's pretty easy to use and they sent us a booklet of paper samples to choose from.

Oh I like that they sent you a booklet of paper samples! Were you able to just upload an already complete template of your invite and then just print them?

Yes. I haven't actually ordered them yet because we still need to figure out a few things, but I uploaded a version of what we're going to use so I could figure out the pricing and it was pretty straightforward. You basically just upload a PDF for each piece (invitation, RSVP, insert...) and then choose the paper, size, etc. You can see what it looks like online, but they also send physical proofs before printing all of them.
For reference, we're getting 90 invitations, 90 RSVP cards, and 90 enclosure cards (some double sided) with full bleed (the color goes all the way to the edge) on heavy cardstock, and it's going to be about $200.*

*not including envelopes because I wanted specific colors, but their envelopes aren't very expensive, either.
Also, we used the design your own option from Shutterfly for our save the date magnets and those came out great.

Thanks so much! I will definitely look into this! I really like the paper samples and the proofs! I am just starting to look at ideas for stationary to get an idea of pricing for our budget. I do like save the date magnets and have looked into Shutterfly! Thanks!!
