Online dress shopping (cocomelody)

I haven’t personally but I’ve seen many brides on wedding wire say they've purchased a dress from there!

I didn't use them, I found a couple of dresses on Udresscenter and Amazon.

They seem very legit! They have shops in LA, NYC, and North Carolina, so they are an actual company. There's also a group on Facebook where ladies post their dresses. They all seem pretty legit with customizations and custom sizing. Plus the dresses are gorgeous! You can also take a look at Azazie for online shopping.

I’m a plus size bride as well and ordered 2 sample dresses from Azazie to try on I’m in the process to order of ordering two more. Very smooth process

Hey girl! I ordered a dress from Cocomelody. The customer service was absolutely amazing! They worked with me to design and customize the dress I wanted and they even made it in my custom measurements. When it came it fit almost perfectly.

As mentioned above, there is the group on FB for Past, Present and Future brides who share their experiences of trying dresses on to buying them and getting married.

It’s 100% legit and their dresses are gorgeous. They can work with you to customize just about anything and they have a home try on program for select dresses.

I did not get my dress from them, but I did check them out when I initially started dress shopping- they are 100% legit! They do have a physical store in California where you can go in and shop dresses (not sure where you’re located), but all the dresses are also available online. You should check out the “Cocomelody dress shopping tips & reviews” page on Facebook. It is full of Cocomelody brides who share photos of their dresses and review their experiences!

So I’ve never gotten anything from there either but some general rules for getting a gown online that I give:


1) look at real customer reviews with photos 2) check for return or refund policy3) try on stuff in person elsewhere if you can because it gives you a better idea of what styles work on you 4) if it’s cheap just go for it aha if it’s cheap enough where you honestly don’t care about the cost then it is ok to risk it and go for it

Yes they have a brick and mortar store (a few locations) plus the same try on at home option as Azazie with more style choices.


I was also reading in a skim through of the Reddit wedding boards that several people said they are higher quality of the online stores.

I have rented from Cocomelody before, and it is a legit site, I did the try at home service they provided, and all the wedding dresses were extremely beautiful. In the end, I ordered from Azazie.

I've heard good things about them. I know some brides have gotten their dresses/bridesmaids dresses from them. They have a legit store in California so that's a plus. If you're open to the idea, I got my dress from an online bridal resale site called Stillwhite. They have a wide variety of sizes and prices. Some are worn but great condition and some are still brand new/tag attached like mine was. No matter what, I wish you the best of luck in finding your dress!
