Online dress #dressafford lagit or scam?

Dressafford is a total scam. I ordered my dress online and it looks nothing like the advertised photo. The materials were cheaper, it was heavier and bulkier, and it basically looked like a different dress. When you try to return it, they make you pay for their shipping fee, your shipping fee (and you have to ship it to China), and I paid $53 to ship it back...on top of that, they only refund 80%. This is terrible customer service.

So after paying $216 for this dress, I'll get back around $70. This doesn't include all the precious time I've lost dealing with customer support and shipping it back.

Complete waste money and time - do not buy from there!

I just ordered a dress, my wedding is in a month and the dress should arrive a week before. This will be a second look for me. I didn’t order custom anything just in case. However ladies use a CC or PayPal to purchase its much easier to dispute charges rather than trying to go through the Chinese company. The return policy is 80% minus shipping cost. But honestly if it’s not as described I’m going through PayPal for a full refund. The dress was only 152 so I’m uber excited to see what I’ll receive at this price. I’m hoping it’s perfect and I kinda think it will be just the little sexy second look I was looking for but if not no worries. I’ll be sure to post pics when it arrives.

I had the worst experience with Dressafford. I ordered a customized size of one of their wedding dresses because the size chart is only made for tall people! Although I am average height (5.3 ft), I didn’t fit in the premade dresses’ chart. The customer service suggested that I order a customized one which means NO RETURN because it is supposed to be MY SIZE.

Despite that, the dress was not fit. As you can see from the attached pictures, it is too large/loose in the chest area. I needed to have a tailor to make it fit for me. The costs of a tailor in the US is over $300. When I notified dressafford’s customer service, I was told that they can only refund $10!!!!!

There were also two dirty spots on the dress (see the attached photos) that I needed to send for dry cleaning. Given all that, I had to dispose of this dress and buy another one!!!

It's not a scam in the sense it will take your money and not send you anything. Keep in mind, the dress is only going to be as good as the dressmaker can copy it. I found the same picture of the dress on several different sites, so I knew I was taking a risk. Taking it was worth the $250 to me. I promised myself that I would post where I could to let others know my personal experience, and for me it was a disappointment. If you want to skip the bridal store visits and try on dresses in the privacy of your own home, check out azazie.com. You can try on their sample dresses for just $15 to ship to you and send back. That is where I found my dream wedding dress and so original from the many...within my price range!

I have a dress on their site that I really love, but don't know if I should risk ordering from them. I have 6 months before my wedding so plenty of time to order on line or look elsewhere.

Well I'm ready to purchase a dress from Dressafford but as i was reading reviews here i think im gonna order but do they run small? im usually a 2x - 3x depending on material i dont want to buy it too big.

Their dresses are running a bit smaller for me. Check their size chart. Add volume for breathing.
