Online Bridesmaids Dresses

My bridesmaids all bought their dresses online from Azazie! It was a great experience. Pricing was decent, dresses turned out to be good quality, and they had plenty of styles for everyone to choose from.

My bridesmaids are picking between Azazie, Birdy Grey, and Revelry. 2 'maids have picked Azazie so far and have had a great experience with it, including the at home try ons! My Matron of Honor did Birdy Grey - she did an at home try on as well. My MOH will be doing Revelry we think and it going to order an at home try on!

My best advice to order swatches from everywhere. Most of them have coupons where your first 3 swatches are free or you get free shipping on swatches! My sister actually got her dress from Arbor & Co (for a different wedding, before I even know what color we were going to go with) and I was able to order a swatch from them to see how it would go with the other brands! It turned out to match perfectly!

I love the at home try on options, I really do. If my bridal party had been closer together we would have made an event out of it, but with them being all over the country that wasn't really possible. I know we could have done David's Bridal or something since those are just about everywhere, but I really wanted to be able to give my friends a wider range of prices and styles.

Azazie was great! Tons of color and style options, good quality, and well priced. Both of my bridesmaids (and my MIL) did custom sizing (for free!) and didn't need any further alterations.

My bridesmaids are in a few different states, so I figured online would be the best move so nobody felt excluded because they're too far away to shop in-person. I picked a few options from Kennedy Blue and Azazie, and they all ended up liking the Kennedy Blue option best. I definitely recommend ordering swatches from any online place you're considering, because both Azazie and Kennedy Blue's colors looked different in-person vs online.

There are countless recommendations on the forum for Azazie. We personally preferred the selection at Cocomelody and Revelry. Amazon also comes recommended but their quality is hit or miss coming from third party vendors as well as a very limited selection.



Avoid JJs House as it is a Chinese business that is hit or miss. Many past brides on the forum have said their seamstresses will not touch dresses from there.

My bridal party decided on a dress from Birdy Grey and they’ve been great. On of my bridesmaids busted the zipper trying it on again months after she ordered it (before my wedding was postponed) and they replaced the dress for free!


Definitely agree with above advice, order swatches and compare across brands, we also brought swatches along to decor meetings to see the overall look of things all together.

Also keep in mind that not everyone enjoys purchasing a dress blindly online and then having to deal with the process of returning it which is avoided by shopping locally. Plus that gets expensive quickly. Make sure the company has an inexpensive try on at home program so they aren’t out $100-400 on a dress that doesn’t work for them because they are not built like an airbrushed model.


Cocomelody has a brick and mortar store (not sure if it’s one location only or multiple) where dresses can be tried on in person. Definitely pay the money to order swatches as well to see the fabric and color in natural lighting.

Azazie! Great selection, great quality, and amazing prices. They also let you try dresses on at home before making your final purchase.

I was a bridesmaid once and I got mine from Amazon I got a bunch of try before you buy dresses in the color that I needed and figured out which one I liked the best

Azazie, 1000%!!!!! Your bridesmaids can try on the styles at home, custom sizing is free of charge, the quality of the dresses are amazing! They also allow you to create "Showrooms". Basically you pick our your favorite dresses and say to the bridesmaids "Pick one". My bridesmaids are going to do that. All the dresses I chose are long dresses, with flowy skirts and straps of some kind. That way if one body type doesn't look good/doesn't like one, they can choose another.

I’m doing Amazon they have a one size fits all bridesmaid dress in multiple colors that can be worn differently plus a good price too 😅

I ordered mine for my sister's wedding from French Novelty. They were really helpful when the mail carrier lost it.
