Online bridesmaid dress shopping

Simone, on June 19, 2017 at 10:11 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10

Hey Ladies! I am wondering if anyone has experience with online bridesmaid dress shopping through sites such as AZAZIE, WeddingtonWay, JJsHouse, etc. I like the idea of not having to travel to a boutique (I live 100 miles from my bridesmaids due to a recent move, and even they live a far distance from each other), the cost efficiency, and having everyone pick a style that would best suit their body.

I welcome any positive or negative experiences! The reviews seem to be mostly good but of course the few bad ones stand out.

I have seven bridesmaids. 3 of them are out of state. We ordered off of azazie. For the most part it's a great site. The dresses are cute and most of them Shipped within four weeks. We got the dresses in blushing pink. I added my cousin to the wedding party late. She ordered her dress after everyone and it came in time. However, they messed the order up and sent her dress in the color dusty rose. They can't send her another dress in time for the wedding. They offered to refund it. But no other compensation. Other than that it's a good site. The rest of the dresses are very nice just needed some alterations (even with custom sizing).

I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding next month and I got my dress from Azazie. It fits really well and it's well made, and they offer free custom measurements too. I was able to order a few dresses to try on before I purchased for $10 each. When I did purchase my dress, it arrived almost a month before they estimated it would.

We ordered all 6 bridesmaids dresses at Azazie!

Everyone got a different design and everyone loved it!

Thanks everyone! I was leaning towards using Azazie. I will look into these prior posts!

And AlmostMrsB I am sorry that happened to you and your cousin. I hope she was/is able to find a suitable replacement in time.

We did weddington way and cannot say enough how much I loved working with them!! Dresses are beautiful and their customer service helped so much! A few BM were in between sizes and they recommended a size for them and they fit for the most part (other than chopping off the bottom since all dresses are make for giraffes, and then taking to top in a little for those with smaller chests). Dresses came in at under $150 pp.

I have a Kennedy Blue dress for a wedding next month, it's really nice quality but is more expensive than Azazie. They also have a smaller selection in terms of style and color, but they do offer sales and the same at-home try on as Azazie.

My bridesmaids are using Azazie, and they really like their dresses. They ordered a couple each to try on, and really liked the process. They seem to be really god quality for the price, and don't need alterations other than being hemmed.

My friend used Union Station and everyone looked like a frumby overweight person in their dresses. Very unflattering if you have hips because it doesn't hug at all in the right places. Wouldn't recommend them.

My girls got their dresses off jcrew online. I know it is not the same as bridal party dress sites but they have nice dresses and easy returns!

Macy's is also a good place to look, depending on budget.

Adrianna Pappell has a bridesmaid line in a variety of colors and styles. I was lusting after those dresses, but they were a tad over budget for my girls.

We ordered off etsy! $50 after shipping was on budget for us.

This specific dress we ordered can be worn like 300 different ways. It took about 3 weeks to come but it was worth it. The dresses are perfect.
