Lizbeth, on June 11, 2019 at 11:54 AM Posted in Planning 0 9

Hi!

Has anyone ever had a wedding with one photographer and one videographer?

How did your pictures come out?

I'm asking because everytime i see wedding videos i see multiple people either taking pictures or recording. I have one of each and now I am worried

We have one photographer & one videographer, but each brings an assistant. I really love their work and don't think it will be a problem!

I personally will be having one of each. If it is concerning you that something might be missed, possibly look for a second photographer. They together might be able to cover everything for you.

I am having one of each. I think it'll be ok. When I see teams of photographers I think it's just to make sure they get excess footage but one of each is capable too of getting everything

My brothers are actually going to be the photographer and videographer, they aren't professional but they have a lot of experience in the field so i trusted them

Aside from getting married this year, I am also a wedding photographer. I usually recommend a 2nd shooter to all my brides. HOWEVER, as long as you trust you have a fantastic wedding photographer you do not need 2. I shoot many of my weddings alone and have the skills to back up being the only one on site. There have been plenty of days where I don't even have an assistant (usually smaller weddings). A second shooter is a great investment but I have never felt I couldn't capture a couple's day on my own. Advantages of having a second shooter are that you will likely end up with more photos and possibly have more variety/creativity in your photos since you have 2 sets of eyes. I wouldn't stress too much but if you are worried talk to your photographer/videographer about having a second shooter. Usually, adding on a second photographer is not super expensive as your main photographer will still usually do all the editing.

We had one photographer, didnt see the need for a videographer. Our pictures from the one photographer came out beautifully and everything we wanted captured was captures. BUT I think it would've been nice to have a second shooter for part of the day. I don't regret not having one, it would've just been a nice addition.

We had one photographer and no videographer. And it was just fine - wonderful even. (And we had nearly 200 guests) Our photographer managed to be everywhere and capture everything.

We had one photographer and one videographer and I love the pictures and videos I received. I got over 730 pictures back and she didn't miss anything. My videographer did a great job too with the videos he created for us. I have no regrets.

We have one photographer and one videographer. I think this is enough since everything is in one venue.
