We are date twins and I’m in the same situation! I had my first fitting 2 weeks ago after waiting 10 months for my dress to come in and it was awful. It didn’t fit and all the alterations they said they could do to it (which made me buy it), they are now saying they can’t do. I’m in an absolute panic 😳 and don’t know if I have time to get a different dress. How did that work out for you? Did they say they could get it ordered in time? I got my dress back in July and I was all over the place with dress styles after trying on and looking at dresses for months (getting married outdoors and changed it from sunrise to sunset) and I picked one with my future sister-in-law that I liked okay (it was my favorite out of the ones I tried on) but it was strapless and I was a little worried about it because I'm not a huge fan of strapless. So I took it to the alterations place and the seamstress convinced me I needed to put inserts in the dress to fill out the bust (not surprising) and when I picked it up yesterday and I tried it on it was super difficult to zip up and it gives me a roll over the top of the dress in the back (it's too tight). She was like "looks great! bye!" and ushered me out. So I was upset and should have said something but didn't. I'm thinking about taking the cups out of the dress but my bust will not fit into the structured one of the strapless dress. I ordered one from ASOS today that has free shipping expedited shipping and free returns. So at this point my options are :

1. take the padding out of the strapless dress and maybe the top will fit better

2. use the strapless dress as is and deal with it (it's one day)

3. one of the ASOS dresses will work and I will use that instead and attempt to sell an altered dress online.

I definitely feel like a super crazy person, but I'm sure this is not that uncommon. Good luck with your dress!!!!!

9-29-19! It's getting real!

Sept 13! Excited but anxiety-inducing. At the stage of picking fights with mom over seating chart, crying, and then getting over them/laughing about it within 20 minutes. Feel a bit like a crazy person but ultimately still looking forward to it lol

Sept 15th!!!!! Less than a month away😄🎉🎉 can't wait. Just remember to enjoy the day, and this time before the marriage.. thats what I keep hearing and that's what I keep telling myself lol🤣 Hope all you ladies are having a great time leading up to your big days!

I still think it’s funny that all the final payments for our vendors are due two weeks in advance...my birthday. Happy birthday to me! 😂🎉
At least once the vendors are fully paid I’ll be able to finally relax and get excited about getting married!
