On a lighter note.... Has anyone had mismatched Flower girls?

Mismatch 'em all you want. Your wedding.

Have you seen a wedding where it was done? I guess we're having a hard time picturing if it would look ok. I suppose it probably depends on the 2 dresses we'd be using though.

Mine will be. My daughter will be 2 years old so I want her in a tutu dress and my niece will be 9 years old. I want her in a non tutu dress. Same colors hopefully but different styles.

I might have to do this. The flower girl dresses I wanted were sold out, but DB said to keep checking and more may come in. Well that DID happen so one flower girl was able to get her size of dress ordered (they are ordering a size up to allow for growth). Well I checked with my cousin about her daughter's dress size and she said that she may have to go up 2 sizes instead of one because her daughter is shooting up fast. That size is still sold out online, but she said she'd go check with the store. So now I may have to go with the runner up dress for her, but I said that's fine as long as they both have on the same sash so their dresses will work together. I'm waiting to see if she was able to find the size or not. I'm sure as long as the dresses complement one another, it should work.

I've seen it done. They were in the same color range but slightly different shades and different dresses and looked fabulous.

I have been debating this same things. I think all my girls are going to have different dresses, so I don't really know why I would have the two little ones match. I also have a eight year old junior brides maid, so I really don't know what to do with her! My flower girls will be 5 and 3 at the time, and the eight year old is very tall so I really didn't want them in the same dress. I think it all depends on their age really. Different dresses will look cute because when it comes down to it, they are little girls in pretty dresses. What's cuter than that!?
