No, but I don't see how you could go wrong with a large quantity of breadsticks.

It's not like it's real food, but it's better than self catering.

It's not gourmet or fancy, but it's fine if you're on a budget. I think most people would enjoy it.

I've never been to an event where they've catered, but Olive Garden is freaking great. I'd say go for it!

I have never had their catering. Generally, I have a difficult time finding something from the regular menu that I can/want to eat. I used to love their salads, but (at least at my local one) the quality has gone down hill. I do love their bread sticks.

Honestly, if Olive Garden catering is within your budget I'd say go with it. Have you looked into any other small, family-owned Italian restaurants in your area?

How is it not "real food"? Lol... I'm not a HUGE fan of Olive Garden, but it would still be nice. It's not like you're suggesting getting McDonalds dollar burgers and McChickens for all your guests.

I've never been a fan of Olive Garden, except their breadsticks (I am marrying into a second generation Italian family) but if you need affordable catering, its a good route to go.

I hate Olive Garden but I wouldn't side-eye if they catered the event. I would be happy to have a non-self-catered meal.

TLE-I think I broke his moms heart when I said I have a dairy allergy lol she is always wanting to make me lasagna. The holidays at his house are always so good! I agree, I wouldn't side eye it, wayyy better than self catering.

@Kristin I can absolutely see that! Our second date my FH showed me how to make sauce. Thankfully his mother taught him to cook.

We were going to use them for the rehearsal. They had a lot hidden charges in upgrades. That was probably due to my high expectations that they couldn't do. I ended up going to our wedding catering company and they beat the price of olive garden. Also, we are using our cater for 4 days so we got our cost down in that as well. However, who is doing your rehearsal? Look into booking a catering company for both.

We had it for a family party. It was good to a function like that.

I think Olive Garden is a great option, especially if you have a lower budget. I also suggest contacting some family-owned place like PP's suggested

I hate Olive Garden! Maybe because I've been eating my family's homemade Italian food. Either way if you and your FS like it and are able to cater it then I say go for it! It's your day!
