Old lady dress ??

Man, what kind of old ladies do they know? What do I need to do to pull this off when I'm an old lady?

I would describe it as very metropolitan. It has a very chic, sleek look that reminds me of skyline architecture.

The only thing I would imagine they could be referring to is that older women tend to wear less embellished gowns to things like second weddings and vow renewals (which they are more likely to be having than a first wedding with all the bells and whistles). So maybe they are more familiar with seeing this simplicity on older individuals.

However, minimalism is always going to be en vogue. The tailoring and structure of this gown is what makes it special, not thousands of crystal beads or feet of lace. Sometimes, minimalism is a statement of its own.
