Okinawa, Japan-Honeymoon

What made you decide on Okinawa? Are you looking for travel advice? Hotel recommendations? Give us a little more info!

The islands look gorgeous and it sounds like the climate is great year-round!

Okinawa is absolutely gorgeous and there's lots to do. I definitely recommend getting off the main island, since the best beaches and diving are a bit further afield. Although stick around the Naha area for a couple of days to enjoy the castle and the caves, if you're into that.Keep in mind that it's the only part of Japan with very limited public transit, although taxis will always be available and are more affordable than people think. If you want to day trip, renting a car still will be a good plan.

The climate can actually be a bit dodgy in winter; there are jags of cold rain and wind between November-March. The rest of the year is just stunning though.

My brother and his wife and son live there on base and they travel everywhere! They said its about 60 miles in lengtj but they never get board! They say the beaches are absolutely beautiful!
