Okay ladies, Aruba, Turks and Caicos or Jamaica?

They use to be a little green because it was a residential facility beforehand but seriously the last time I stayed there it was wonderful. You can walk to restaurants - mainly to the other resort restaurants and 4 or 5 near the hotel (the food is expensive though everywhere) Right up the road though from seven stars is a grocery store where you can get food and cook yourself. It isn't a terrible walk from Ocean Club West either but you aren't going to be wanting to carry back a huge thing of water. We took Taxis to a few restaurants but a lot of times we would walk, but that's after we'd been there once and knew where things were located. Taxis can get expensive though

We are thinking about Aruba since it's out of the hurricane belt. Our other choices are the Seychelles or a Europe trip we had planned for this year but postponed to save for the wedding.

Aruba has been highly recommended to us from couples that have traveled extensively...good luck!

I've heard amazing things about Turks & Caicos.

And Aruba. I also have friends that honeymooned in Seychelles last year and said it was the most amazing experience of their lives.

Everyone goes to Jamaica, and once they visit Jamaica they go to Aruba. Turks and Caicos is a little bit more of a novelty :-)

We honeymooned in Jamaica at the Jamaica Grande resort in Ocho Rios. That was in 2004 and I've been a few times before that and love Jamaica.

We went to Punta Cana for my 40th birthday in 2007 and stayed at the Excellence Resort and love, love, loved it there.
