I keep seeing people try to sell wedding things with their names and or dates on them?

I wondered that too, only thing I can think of is if the personalization can be taken off and replaced, but still, you'd have to buy the decals sooo... idk

I haven't seen that, but that is awkward. I could never do that.

I've wondered that, too. Like, good luck finding a buyer!

Only way I could see that is if it's something that has the names and stuff in vinyl that could easily be removed. But yeah....weird otherwise.

Maybe they think they're super special that everyone should have some memorabilia? 🤷‍♀️ lol idk that's definitely strange though.

I’m not sure... maybe because they just want it All gone- regardless of what it is?? Painful reminder of a failed wedding?

I just need to look for “Harry Potter” items and glass jars for the “Honeydukes Candy Bar”

That’s so weird!! Why make something with your name on it just to try to sell it. Wouldn’t it be better if they made something without names and dates just so they can sell it later.

I can see wanting to try and make some money back on after the wedding but I don't see how anyone thinks they're going to be able to sell their personalized items...

It makes no sense to me. And why does everything have to be personalized anyway? I'm determined not to buy any of my decor (ok, maybe votive holders) retail, so I've been perusing Facebook Marketplace a lot lately and the things you see! Who wants your half burned votives? What if they burn out 1/2 way through your reception? I'm going to buy mirrors and picture frames and spray paint them rose gold. They wont match, but they'll "go" and I'm ok with that. Tomorrow I'm going to inquire about two decorative bird cages I saw for 15 bucks and repurpose them as a card holder and maybe a repository for advice cards or song requests.

I've seen that stuff but most of the stuff I saw was DIYed in chalk paint or the like so it's easy to wipe off their names and add new ones.

I seen those to but even in those cases wouldn’t the seller think to do that themself. Before selling the item?
