Ok to just try on wedding dresses?

Hi, I am going to Demetrios on Sunday to try on bridal gowns. I have never tried on a wedding dress before and don't plan on buying anything because my wedding is over a year away! Do you think they will be rude or snobby to me since I am not going to buy anything and am just getting some ideas?...

I would not try a dress on that was outside of my budget. If you fall in love, you'll end up heartbroken.

That being said, I cannot imagine that sales people think that you're going to walk into the first store, the first time and purchase a dress.

Some of y'all are debbie downers lol. If I owned a shop or was a bridal consultant, I'd be okay with people coming in to try on dresses just for fun. Then later down the line when they *are* ready to try on dresses, they may just come back to my shop. That being said, I say go for it! Why not? Maybe even be upfront about it like some others said, just so no one feels led on. Also, if I had a bridal shop, I think it would be awesome if those who do go just to try on dresses for fun could just BYOH (bring your own helper)! That way a consultant isn't paired with you and you're not "wasting their time". You just get a fitting room and that's it. You and your helper are on your own to try on dresses just like you could at a mall/clothes store!
