Oh so happy...

Long story short. I'm marrying my ex husband. We married before for 7 years, divorced for 13, got back together 3 years ago. Much better this time around. In the meantime he had a child with his last girlfriend, that little girl knows me as an aunt.


My "niece" is my FH youngest child. She (now 8 yrs) was never one for her dad and I to get married. She was afraid that everything would change (last 2 weddings she went to) the couples moved away. She was afraid that we were going to move away from her. Last night we told her that we weren't going to ever move away and nothing would change. Where we live (in my house) is our forever home. I am now emergency contact for her school, her dr office, it has been added that I'm her stepmom.
So, now my "niece" is my stepdaughter. I have always seen her as one of my own. My FH is my children's dad.
But I am so excited that my stepdaughter is now ok with her dad and I getting married.
