Silver and gold mixed bothered me to no end until I looked through pics of my friend's wedding and she mixed A LOT of silver and gold. It looked really good!

I think you will be okay. Mixed metals is something that is fairly common anymore.

YES! That is exactly what I did. Me and my BM had silver accessories but the venue and everyone else and our flowers all had gold.

I will be mixing them. Our wedding colors are maroon and gold and I will be wearing silver jewelry with gold accents in my dress, bouquet and all the other wedding décor. Plus with the pictures that you posed I think it would look great!

I think that the silver and gold go together splendidly! I'm sure there are some fashion police that may still frown upon it, but for the most part people just do what looks good without all of the "rules" We can still wear white after labor day, right?

Maybe it's the lighting but your shoes look pretty silver to me! Silver and gold are lovely together, I almost kept my wedding band platinum (it was my mom's original band) but because the styles were different, my Ering is more vintage and her band is modern, making them both rose gold was a better fit, but I so wish I could have had a mixed metal wedding set!

I am in LOVE with your bouquet!! I would definitely go with a gold necklace to tie it all together. If you love the set (chunky one) that you got, it could probably be pulled off as well.
