What’s the average you guys are paying an officiant? And random question but are they bringing their own microphone and speaker? I want to do a live harpist player for our ceremony so the DJ won’t come until reception but I know most of the time the DJ provides the microphone. TIA!

Our officiant charges $150.00. He only does the ceremony. I have a single violinist as well. No speakers or anything, but our group will be small.

In our area, they charge like $500 for a short ceremony. We asked a relative to get ordained online for free.

Mine is $480,this includes a costume ceremony,writting our own vows(if we want)milage,since she travels far,getting our marriage licence for us,marriage licence fee,notary services,and a BEAUTIFUL, costume made framed marriage certificate (since the one from the county is ugly)she brings mic amd speaker,

I'm paying ours $250, he is a pastor. We got quotes from $250-$1,000. Our DJ is providing the microphone & speaker though.

We're paying $300 I believe, but our officiant is also a friend of ours so he may not charge us anything. Our DJ is providing that for our officiant but they are also doing the ceremony music. Is this something your harp player can provide? or would you be able to have the DJ provide one since they will probably be setting up during your ceremony.
