Officiant??????

In CT, they list their officiants based on city, so you can look it up on your city’s website. My best friend found her officiant at a bridal expo we went to. And there’s options to search WW!

I found mine on Thumbtack. There’s a web page & an app. Super easy, found one for a great price who did a lovely job.

I just found one by looking for vendors on this site and reading reviews.

Weddingwire lets you search for specific vendors in specific locations

I just googled officiants in my area and saw some well rated ones. I found one in a Tampa Bay wedding group I am interested in plus this site has some vendors you can check out. Good luck!

Found mine on Thumbtack as well. I am getting married in a really small town so my officiant that we finally chose is traveling.

You can google for officiants, your church officiant or someone you know besides your grandfather

Thumbtack is a great choice. I helped a fellow bride friend of mine find hers on there when she was down to the wire! You can also try contacting the court houses & see if a justice of peace if available to come out to marry you depending on if you want something spiritual or not.

\You can find listing for them online, including on this site. We originally asked a friend of ours to officiate, but he's hit a rough patch thanks to a pretty rough divorce and has indicated that he doesn't feel like he would be the best to handle that duty any more.

So we're looking at having another friend we met through an interest group we're part of officiate instead. It would add some quirk to our ceremony because our venue is VERY quirky and has "characters" for their various beers & associated locations. She's going to dress as one of the characters to officiate for us, which should be really unique and fun. Really excited for this actually. This venue and everything about it were a huge part of our adventure in getting to know each other and it feels appropriate to "pay homage" to them in our ceremony this way.

I went on thumbtack and found someone with good reviews and I had a good feeling about her. I liked her when I talked to her on the phone and met with her in person! She's a licensed counselor and a minister non-denominational and works with people of all faith even if they're Christian or not. She was willing to do non-secular ceremonies!
