Odd number of groomsmen to bridesmaids

Hi so when picking the wedding party the FH and I decided on 5 each. His side my 3 brothers and his 2 best friends. My side 1 sister 2 cousins and his 3 sisters. He decided he wants 3 more groomsmen but I don't want to add any more bridesmaids. I don't want to deal with any girl drama if I pick anyone else. I said it's okay to be uneven that I don't care. He's insisting I need to pick 3 more bridesmaids. What do I do?

    Have uneven sides. It is not a big deal and many people do it.

    I agree. It doesnt need to be matchy matchy. We are having uneven sides. Also ive seen pics just as beautiful with uneven sides as even sides.

    Just tell him that your bridal party members are people not props. You shouldn't just add three more people so it looks nice for pictures. It is completely fine to have uneven sides.

    I'm uneven too now (didn't start that way!) Smiley sad I have a MOH, best man and GM. doesn't matter how many people you have and it if doesn't match.

    We had uneven sides- I had 2 more girls than he had guys. We had the ladies walk solo during the processional, and after the ceremony, two lucky guys got to escort two of my lovely BMs out during the recessional and into to the reception. Totally fine!
