Checking in with my October brides/grooms! How are you all doing!? I feel like time is flying by.. we are (im)patiently waiting for RSVP's to come in. Still have to order rings.. my first fitting is at the end of August.. so I feel like we're slowly checking off things on the list. October Check-in 1

10/5 here! We just bought our bands last week, so that was super fun and exciting! They are being sized now, so we should have them in hand in 10-14 days. I did my first dress fitting about a week ago and putting my dress on again gave me butterflies! We are sending our invitations out in about 2.5 weeks. Our cake topper should arrive today! We did our rehearsal dinner food tasting yesterday, and it was delicious! My bachelorette party is next weekend Smiley smile ! We are going to Savannah. So many exciting things happening and we are slowing but surely checking things off the list! And I'm having so much fun! 75 days to go!

I am extremely nervous and am really starting to get anxious about the wedding to the point of giving myself terrible stomach aches plus feeling like I've ruined everything so no one will enjoy the day. I should have my invitations back soon from the calligrapher and then can mail those as well as the rehearsal dinner invitations. I am working on my tentative timeline and other logistics with my wedding planner/coordinator. We still have alcohol and ceremony programs to order but have mostly moved past the major details until we start getting RSVPs/concrete numbers.

Yay!! Yes, I've got to get on the ring thing soon haha. I wish we waited to send our invites a bit.. (sent them a few weeks ago). We've gotten some RSVP's, but not as many as I hoped for from people who are traveling which was the whole reason we sent them early. Hoping that process is easy for you!!

Halloween wedding here! We should be getting the invitations early next week. My dress is in and alterations are scheduled for early September (trying to lose some more weight first). Feeling a little nervous over here! Gotta book a photgrapher (found one we like, but need the money for the retainer first!). Bridesmaids have been given instructions for dresses and shoes.

We sent save the dates 6 months before the wedding date, so everyone knows. A lot of our guests have already told me they have booked their hotel rooms and I am seeing gifts come off our registry. So that means people have actually been going to our website, which is reassuring. We are doing online RSVP's through our wedding website, so I think that will make me feel a little more at ease about RSVP's because they will be quick and easy for people do it. Especially for the last minute folks.

That is my plan too! Haha. I asked the seamstress "What is the last possible date I can start alterations"? She recommended September, but I figured August 30th was close enough haha. Going to try to really put the pedal to the medal this past month Smiley xd

Because I should have sent the invites out earlier, I should have probably not blocked a hotel room, and I generally don't feel like a lot of folks are going to RSVP "yes". I am sure it will be fine but I keep imagining all the ways the day will go wrong, I won't have done enough to accommodate things, etc.

I guess the grass is always greener.. here I am thinking I wish we never bothered sending save the dates at all because I don't feel like they help at all. Hang in there! Smiley heart

Hey!! Just about in the same boat as you are. Wedding shower is next weekend, Dress fitting mid August. We have our rings picked out, just not ordered yet, so we should probably get on that.... lol. Mostly have our honeymoon planned, the things that needed to be booked are booked anyway, the "do when we want" things we just haven't planned when they will be.

I feel like I'm dyinggggg over waiting for RSVPs to come in. We have less than a 4th of them back as of yet. Trying to remind myself daily, people have to figure out their schedules, I just really hope I won't have a lot of people left to call after the deadline to find out for sure. We have a large guest list so I really just don't want to have to track what feels like a million people down.

Have you picked rings out already to order or haven't decided yet?

10/19. I have the majority of the big stuff done. Only big things are tuxes, his ring, ordering the food and booze, and trying to pay for the DJ

10/4!! We originally were going to have a "normal" wedding next Fall in VA where I'm from, but decided a couple of months ago to have a microwedding here in UT (where we both live) and I'm starting to feel so unprepared and unsure this is the right decision. I'm super excited about it, but at the same time, none of our friends or family live out here, so i feel like i'm missing out on things like a bridal shower, bachelorette party etc. plus we are only inviting immediate family and my bff (whose husband is officiating) for an intimate mountain wedding on public land and backyard bbq after. I don't have anything except a dress and shoes. We're not hiring a dj, catering, or photographer, not decorating, there will be less than 20 people including us... it should be simple and easy, but it's stressing me out somehow! I feel somewhat bad for not putting more into it, but we decided to do it this way because i don't handle stress well... AT ALL. if it was up to FH, we would do a city hall ceremony and not invite anyone, but I wanted my family there and since they are having to fly all the way out here, I figured it we should do something more than ugly city hall and this is our compromise. Plus I want to wear my really pretty dress and shoes that I've already bought.

I was literally talking to FH earlier about this.." Do you think we made the right decision? We're paying so much money to celebrate with all these people.. Should we just have done something small?" So I guess now I'm realizing we all second guess ourselves?? I bet you are going to have a beautiful wedding regardless ♥️♥️ and at the end of the day.. We will both be married and happy 😍 I wish you the best of luck with these last months of planning. We got this! Smiley winking

Mine was originally scheduled for Sept 24, back when my dress wasnt supposed to come until the 23rd. I was EXTREMELY stressed about that timeline. But luckily my dress came in beginning of this month, so I moved it up a couple weeks.

10/19 for us. Our invitations arrive this week, so will work on getting them out next weekend. I have my first dress fitting next week. Still need to find HMUA and accessories. We need to shop for a suit for him. Then it's the event details - picking songs, day of schedule, picking cake flavors, printing menus. I'm feeling pretty good. Oh - and we need to learn to dance!

Smiley xd We kind of know what we want.. but haven't totally decided yet. The past 2 weekends I said that was our task we were going to accomplish and we haven't haha. This weekend maybe? We'll see.

I wish people would hurry up and RSVP!!
