October brides

Our wedding is also in October. It will all come together once you get the basics and you still have months to go. Just focus on one vendor at a time and you’ll be a lot less stressed. Get your venue and date first! Then catering and photographer. Also ask the vendors you book for other vendors they recommend we hardly looked for ours because we got such good recommendations from our venue and other vendors! Good luck!!

View Quoted Comment Nope as long as you like his work. Don’t settle for a photographer whose style you don’t like just because they are friends or family. You want to love your pics at the end of the day and if he can’t deliver than don’t settle. If you like him as a person and a photographer than go for it. Nothing weird about it. My sister had her old college roommates cousin as her photographer. As long as they take good photos no weirdness at all.

We just got our bridesmaid dresses this past weekend. My FH and I can’t decide what the groomsmen are wearing. He wants suspenders I want vests lol. We are having such a hard time with decor there are so many options for table numbers and centerpieces idk if I want to buy rent diy?! My Pinterest page looks like a war zone !! Trying to make it as stress free as possible but I get worked up over the littlest things!

View Quoted Comment We are doing open seating for the ceremony with just some reserved seats for immediate family. We are doing assigned seating at tables , not places at tables for the dinner part. We are doing like ages and how we know people. Family friends with family friends. We are basing it off age and if we think people would get along okay enough for an hour at dinner. Make a list of all the tables you have and then group people you don’t want to separate together then you’ll have a group of four and a group of four and there you have your table of eight or whatever. We did ours that way and it worked out pretty well!

View Quoted Comment It’s at a state park in Riverside Ca. The ceremony is outdoors on a big lawn under trees and the reception is inside a banquet hall. I am obsessed with our venue!

Its a destination wedding. the reason we chose France is because thats where me and my fiance first said "i lovr u"

I’m also October. I’ve only booked my venue and DJ. I’m suppose to book the person to handle all the decor this Saturday but this virus has me super nervous to put anymore money out there. I just don’t know what to do.

I still need a caterer and a florist. We’re definitely getting nervous about not having a caterer yet. Then, the wedding party needs to order apparel, we need our wedding bands, and we need to pay off the venue and finish buying decor.

We're october 11 and I think i've got all the big stuff (venue, photographer, officiant caterer, bartender) but I keep thinking of little stuff like Ice or decor and I feel panicked over everything that has to come together. I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to planning that this is overwhelming sometimes. BUT we've still got almost 7 months. Plenty of time for things to come together. I got a checklist online and am going one thing at a time.
