I contacted our venue today to inquire about how they are dealing with the CDC & WHO recommendations of social distancing and such. They are rescheduling March/April/May events for July & August. So I’m proceeding as I would if this didn’t happen. Except I can’t buy as much right now and might have to cut back on a few things since FH was just laid off due to the Strip closing and now the shutdown of nonessential businesses in Las Vegas. We will figure it out.

We are and it hasn't affected us at all. We are still a little over 6 months away. I can't imagine it going as far as that. If it does then we will keep the date and continue as planned. Whoever shows will show. It will still be amazing! so just keep a a watch on how the vaccine is coming along and plan as normal. happy planning!!

We're getting married in October in Jamaica but having our stateside reception in September in Sacramento. We're just coasting now and making payments to our vendors for the reception. Jamaica has been paid off since January.

Getting married October 17th. Planning is still happening but being cautious of contracts I am signing with vendors. Also my fiancé was just laid off so budget adjustments are being made.

We are 10-11-20 and have no plans to change anything at this point. I was supposed to get my dress this week and didn't because of shipping delays but hopefully i'll still get it in enough time to make alterations! We did have to cancel our engagement pictures that were supposed to be this weekend and i'm bummed but our photographer is amazing and she said she would accommodate us rescheduling them once it all clears up. I'm just so thankful we picked a date so far out. I can't imagine being in the group whose weddings were supposed to be this month or next...

No plans changing for me either. I’m getting married first week of October in the 4th. It pushed back the planning a little as my catering tasting and alterations appointment got put on hold. But nothing major! I feel so bad for everyone canceling I couldn’t image the stress of having to do that.

Getting married on Oct 10th this year. Nothing has really changed for my planning. I will call my venue though to make sure how they are handling things. My venue is a restaurant so my only fear is them shutting down and loosing so much business that they won't be able to open again. Smiley sad

We are getting married on October 10th. All of our vendors have already been booked and my dress has come in. I'm just not sure when I will be able to go pick it up and when I will be able to take it to a tailor. Tuxes are currently on hold for us and we have stopped shopping for decor. We talked about it recently and in the worst case scenario we will get married with just our immediate families on our date and have a vow renewal/reception after everything settles down.

I'm getting married on October 2nd and our planning hasn't been affected. That said, my mom and some of my BMs will be flying in from Brazil and I worry that, by then, even if the situation is contained in the US, it isn't in Brazil (or vice-versa.) It's heartbreaking that they may have fears and concerns about traveling internationally for our wedding, but I'm hopeful that in a few months we'll have made it to the other side of this turmoil. For us October brides, I believe that by June we should have a much better sense of where this is headed. Let's hope for the best (and stay in touch with vendors should anything change)!

The only thing I am semi worried about is my wedding dress, it is supposed to be in by may. We shall see when we get closer to the date.

Our Wedding is 10/24/2020 Right now the only problem we’re encountering is taste testing for the cake due to places shutting down which I completely understand. Just like others have mentioned I've stopped buying stuff for the reception. I kind of feel weird about sending out Save the Dates this week but I still want to give those who still want to come time to plan. I’m still planning for our date but we do have a back up plan if things don’t get better. I’m not sure if my bachelorette party and bridal shower will still happen in July/August but I don’t care about those things Smiley smile

Thus far the only things that’s been affected in our wedding planning for October, is our engagement session. We are scheduled to have the session on 4/5, but my hair stylist just postponed all appointments so I don’t feel my best physically. I am thinking I will need to postpone our engagement session as well until I can get my hair done. Hoping this all works for all of us 2020 brides !

Our Wedding is October 16th. I have had to postpone Engagement photos and taste testing. I've stopped buying for the reception as well. Tux appointments are on hold as well. I do have faith that everything will be calm by then. Sending a prayer out to everyone that this will be over soon. Prayers for families that have lost Family members. Loved ones, and friends. This is just horrible.
