Hello all,

We are scheduled to get married on October 2nd of this year. With everything going on and the uncertainty of things, is anyone else worried things may be affected six months from now? We made our plan B, C and D list tonight.
Starting to get a little nervous as some states have stay at home orders now until June. We live in NY which is one of the hardest hit states.

Trying to stay positive but also be realistic at the same time.

We’re getting married October 3 and i starting to worry a bit. We’re continuing to plan things as normal but we’re starting to have the conversation about either changing dates or holding a very small ceremony and postponing the reception.

Our original date was Oct. 3rd 2020, and we decided to reschedule for next year. Too much going on right now and when everything is over I know there will be so many wedding for the end of the year. I don't want to chance all my vendors getting things mixed up.

My wedding is on 10/10, too. I said I wasn't going to freak out, but I did the other day. Between planning a wedding, honeymoon, buying a house, AND being a COVID nurse - I broke down. Praying this goes away soon 🙏

We live in Michigan & are getting married 10/10/2020. I'm not really worried about THIS wave of pandemic. The only thing that has me a little worried is because some of my family & friends in healthcare have mentioned the possibility of a second wave this fall. Obviously, no one knows that for sure. However, to be on the safe side, FH & I have already discussed it & since my uncle is our officiant we WILL be getting married on our date no matter what. We have been together since 11/1/2011 & have been engaged since Feb 2018. This date is super important to me. So, if we have to, we will just push the reception to a later date.

We are definitely worried about our Oct 17 wedding, so we're putting a plan B in place, We are likely postponing to sometime in 2021 since our venue and vendors are being so flexible with rescheduling. I can see some Oct brides holding off and hoping for the best, but I live in California where we have been hit hard. Our mayor today stated he doesn't see mass gatherings in the cards even by August, so we figure better to plan now than have to reschedule last minute. Smiley sad
