October 4th

Me!! I'm pretty behind in planning right now. But I know as soon as this snow is gone shit can get done faster! Yay date twin!!

ME ME ME!!

I would say I am farther ahead than I need to be on planning... When we got engaged in June I started planning right away

What we have so far :

- Venue

- Caterer

- Flowers

- DJ

- Photographer

- Videographer

- Photo booth

- STDs sent out

- Invites printed

- candy buffet done

- Tons of Decor DIYed- centerpieces,

- BM/ GM gifts taken care of

- Dress

Still need:

- To figure out who is serving- our caterer is not all inclusive, so we need to find a serving company. FH is on that!

- FH tux/ GMs suits

- BM dress shopping- next weekend

And I feel like I am ALWAYS doing something wedding related.... Who knows what

I'm the week after you!

I have:

Venue--booked

Church--booked

Photographer--booked, deposit paid, engagement shoot done

Florist--booked, flowers all picked out, deposit paid

DJ--booked, deposit paid, some songs picked out (he has an online planner so we can do it as we go)

My dress is purchased, had my first fitting, still need to go back

Bridesmaids dresses picked and ordered

Still need to do: feels like everything!

Still need to make/send out STD's

Invitations--waiting til we get closer to order them

MOB/MOG dresses -- we have to go soon but neither of them want to go yet. They want to go together but they can't agree where to go. Ugh!!

Cake-- Can't order until a month before

FG dresses -- supposed to go April 6

Tuxes -- no idea yet.

I'm sure I'm forgetting alot more things, but so far I think I'm good!

Edit: I didn't even read the OP lol I just saw the date. We are pretty much done! All we have left to do is work on DIY stuff/gather items from friends that are letting us borrow supplies and order groomsmen attire. Obviously we are still writing checks pretty much every day. When are you guys sending invites and what's your RSVP deadline?

Back in the day, GameCox and I were the only ones getting married around October 4th- she was the closest thing to my date twin. Obviously I accept you, Gamecox

Right?! Future_Mrs_D?! Now you have soooooo many date twins. My friend can't come to our wedding because he is in a wedding in NM on the 4th and I have another friend that may be in the same situation.

ME! We still need to book the flowers and cake and nail down the ceremony and some other miscellaneous details but we're mostly planned (thank goodness!!!)

@Ashley if it makes you feel any better, we don't even have a venue yet!! We have a pretty set idea of where and we are pretty sure we can get it for a great price.

We are just waiting for this damn snow to melt so we can go look, since we will be having our ceremony outdoors.

My mom was just asking about invites. I don't even know when they need to go out. I have heard 10 weeks out… that sounds right? Haha. So end of July-ish? Our RSVP date is Sept 8th!
