October 2022 Brides

I've booked my day of coordinator, venue, DJ, and caterer. Currently working on booking our hotel for out of town guest and make arrangements for our night before. I bought my dress and have started collecting things for all the DIY fun! I have my guest list completed and have started working on my wedding website. I still feel so behind!

We are completely done, except for purchasing our wedding bands!

We have our venue, caterer, DJ, photographer, and officiant booked. Our venue has accommodations on site, so we have already created a block for guests. We just got engagement photos taken, so once we get those back, we will be sending out our save the dates... Working on creating our registries and finalizing our wedding website as much as possible. I also feel so behind LOL.

Same with engagement photos next month. We have venue, caterer, photobooth, officiant, photographer, guest list, make up, hair... i have my dress. We are doing our wedding cake tasting this weekend. I have SOOO many fake pumpkins right now, its honestly absurd.

I need to start working out so I feel my best on the day of...

We need to work on our registry and then once the pics come back, the save the dates... it feels so far away but yet its only a year now.

I’ve booked almost all my vendors. Now it’s just the big stuff to do

Wow all of you are making me feel a little behind! We got the venue (lakefront in Lake Tahoe), photographer and DJ booked... and that's it.


We've reached out to a caterer... but she will not start booking her 2022 calendar until next week. Fingers crossed there was not someone prior who requested the same date.
We have an idea on which company we would like to use for the cake and flowers. Do those items need to be booked this far in advance?

Wedding colors are also figured out... I think. We know our theme is vintage and romantic fall wedding. So we thinking either a mauve or marsala paired with cream, sage and maybe small amounts of burgundy and a fall shade of orange. What colors is everyone else using?

Dang y’all are way ahead of me lol. I have my venue, photographer, officiant, currently picking caterer and bar service. I have my engagement pictures next month too and I’ll be working on my save the dates soon after. I have not gone dress shopping yet but I know what I want. That part stresses me out the most if I’m being honest.

So far, I have planned:

October: The venue, Engagement phones, my photographer for the day, and my DJ were booked.

November: My plan is to take on dress shopping, explore and confirm bride tribe dresses, and dessert orders in. Also looking at transpertation options.

December: Save the dates will be ordered and mailed out after the new year.

January- March: Decor, customized items, and dresses confirmed and ordered.

Spring: flowers

I've booked my venue, baker, make-up & hair & DJ. My dress is purchased along with my bridesmaids. Waiting for the florist to get back with me and have a meeting set up for catering. Still not sure about photographer. We have one in the family but hate to ask. We want them to enjoy the wedding without having to be behind a camera all day. We do have a few in mind though. I'm already exhausted and trying not to stress but there is so much to do!

I almost have everything done, just need go dress shopping, and send out my invite card out also book for my honeymoon also finish pay on few things. I am doing outside, long weather is good in my cousin backyard. Her niece in law do hair and makeup I book with her. our family helps us with foods, drinks and chairs and table. My cousin Tonia, she is a photographer she will be taking pictures for me. I try not spending lot lot money on my wedding because I rether spent money on my honeymoon. Next year on today date I will walking down the aisle. We are so excited.

I feel like I'm in a good place, but I haven't had time to look at things in a while so I need to regroup soon with my fiancé. We've got venue, photographer, videographer, officiant, caterer, hair & makeup, DJ, I'm picking up my dress next weekend, and know where I'm going for alterations. The baker I was hoping to use won't be available that weekend so I need to figure out somewhere else and need to decide what I want to do about flowers. The florist I contacted can't give quotes until 8 months out so I'm stuck there. The next thing we need to figure out is suits because my fiancé doesn't fit in normal sizes so things have proven to be a bit more difficult than we hoped and it's important that he feels comfortable on our day too.

We have all of our vendors (venue, DJ, Officiant, photographer, videographer, florist, caterer, bartender, and decorators) booked except for the baker. We are doing a dessert table instead of a cake. I ordered my dress but we are still figuring out what my fiancé is going to wear. Just got our engagement photos back last week so I will be finishing up our wedding website soon and ordering save the dates. Still need to finalize our wedding registry, order our dinnerware, finalize our drink menu (and buy the alcohol), and complete DIY projects.

Wow! You guys are rock stars!! We have our venue, officiant (good friend!), photographer, and caterer. I also have my dress, hair, and makeup sorted, and I have all of my bridesmaids on the hunt for their own unique dresses! We are getting bids on bar service now, and we are 80% sure a friend is going to DJ the reception so we'll just need someone to take care of the ceremony music. Still need a florist, a day of coordinator, event insurance, appetizers for the cocktail hour, and a solid decor plan. I'm sure I'm forgetting other stuff! We're having our engagement pics taken just after Thanksgiving so hoping to get save-the-dates out in January. Any tips for the wedding website and registry? I've never done anything like that before!!

I picked out my dress just this past wknd. My fiance is going in for measuring for his tux this coming wknd.


Already have the rings, just need to find a venue, catering and dj now.
