October 2022 brides! Let’s see your dress 👰🏽‍♀️

After trying on a dozen dresses, this is when my daughter knew it was "The Dress"...

Awww what a meaningful story, for such a beautiful dress!! It looks fabulous on you.
I’m not getting married in October next year, but I hope it’s ok for me to still share!

My dress was the first one I ever tried on. I had a favourite in that store and knew from watching too much “say yes to the dress” that you never put the favourite on first, so I tried this other dress on instead, which had a few features I wasn’t sure on. Because or that, I totally wasn’t expecting my breath to catch in my throat and to feel all the feels like that at all!
Of course, I wanted to be sure and I had another appointment booked later that day at a different store, so I was able to try on many other dresses and be certain about my choice, but we went back that afternoon for the first dress. Here it is!

For me to have not ever thought I'd get married, saying "Yes" was super easy once I found it; finding it was the hard part, as I know y'all can all relate to lol. I'm teeny tiny - thank you prematurity only giving me a height of 4'9.5 🙄😅 - so I have a hard time ever finding clothes to fit in store, much less online. Still, I figured if I shopped online I could find somewhere that would custom make to my sizes (and hopefully thus wouldn't require much altering if any), and I did!

We're doing a themed wedding since we're both into the rennassaince era and steampunk, so my dress is VERY non-traditional, but I love it so much!

Said yes to my dress yesterday!!! Our date is 10/15/2022💕

I have a few things to alter to this dress like making the underskirt more fitted and attaching the sleeves to the dress, but besides that this was 100% what I was looking for! So glad I said yes and can't wait to wear it!
