October 2021 Honeymoons!

Lisa, on October 19, 2020 at 10:07 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 11
Good morning!

Lately my fiancé and I have been talking about our honeymoon destination. We have a few places in mind, Greece, Ireland, Hawaii & Aspen. We obviously can’t make a decision now because we have no idea what the pandemic will be like in a year & what travel restrictions might look like.

So my questions for all you October 2021 couples, where are you thinking about going? When do you think you’ll make a final decision on it? We are hoping to be able to make a decision in May/June 2021.

We are in the same boat. We were supposed to be married next month, but postponed to Fall 2021 due to the pandemic. We are having a destination wedding, so we are thinking of that as part of a mini-moon, then we will also spend a few days in Salem. We decided to postpone our big honeymoon to Europe until our one year anniversary, rather than try to plan amidst the unknown of the pandemic. Hopefully by fall 2022 things will be looking normal again and travel restrictions will be nonexistent 🤞🏻🤞🏻

That sounds like a good plan! You may consider this but want to have kids shortly after the wedding and don’t know if traveling abroad pregnant is a good idea 🤷🏽‍♀️ You’d hope by 2022 there wouldn’t be too strict of restrictions. We postponed from 10/10/2020 to 10/7/2021 so totally get what you’re saying & hope 2021 is significantly better for everyone!

We're getting married next October as well. We're thinking of waiting a couple of months after the wedding to take our honeymoon, like around December or January. Hopefully by then, travel restrictions won't be a thing. We're wanting to go to Hawaii.

I’m getting married next October or November. We want to visit to go to Paris, Greece or Hawaii. But we will probably make a decision in the Spring. I’m really hoping COVID doesn’t ruin this.

I got married last October and we had our honeymoon planned for Ireland, but in May of 2020. October is Irelands rainy season, and they also have limited daylight in October. So, if you choose Ireland, I would wait until the late spring or early summer to visit.

We're thinking of going to Jamaica and I'm trying to have us booked by February. Our sons birthdays fall in September and November then the holidays happen so we think going right after the wedding will be our only time.

We’re waiting until the following summer to go anywhere. We’re both teachers, so going somewhere during the school year just isn’t realistic.
We are planning on going to Disney World, though!
