I know this is a stressful time to be planning a wedding. I was wondering if anyone Planning their wedding in October of this year, has decided to postpone or if you are still getting married what are your plans? My fiancé and I don’t want to wait too long to postpone, but we also don’t want to postpone to early. Thoughts?

We just made the decision the other week to officially postpone our 10-2-20 reception to next year on 10-1-21. We are in PA where the restrictions limit you to 25 people indoors and we had contracted an indoor wedding and reception so all of the back and forth just really didn't make sense for us. That said, we are still getting married on our original date this year as we need some sense of certainty and a multitude of other reasons. Honestly, it's kind of worked out for the best in that we are now officially tying the knot in the church we originally met in back in 2012.

We postponed from 10/24/20 to 10/10/21 in the Hudson Valley in NY. Our guest list is at 150 with many traveling out of state and some internationally so it just wasn’t going to be feasible to have everyone we want there.
