October 2020 Brides

That's great! We looked at doing a Friday wedding but we wouldn't have saved any venue money so went with Saturday. Are you in a tough location to find hair/makeup people?

We kind of had to book vendors we wanted faster then I thought. Just needing to finalize a couple things and then next step for us would be to book transportation, hotel blocks, honeymoon, and maybe start looking into restaurants for rehearsal dinner. It’ll be nice to just take a breather for a little bit and just enjoy being engaged.

If you already have a photographer, I would ask if they include an engagement session or if you can add one on. We added ours for $200. I would just think about what kind of theme you want and what location would match that. And if you want them for save the dates I would schedule maybe 1-2 months before you plan to send them out so you get the pictures back in time.

We have locked down our venue for the reception and ceremony along with the caterer. We have our baker for the cake and our florist. We are now working on the photographer, DJ, and officiant. Dress shopping is in 1 week and have a little Mary Kay party in 2 weeks with just my bridesmaids and I. 375 days to go!!

Hello, 10/4/20 here. We have put deposits down on the venue, my dress, our daughters jr. bridesmaid dress and the cake, paid off our photographer. Waiting for quotes back from two flower appointments and emails to some DJs. My honey just needs to ask his last groomsman. Now to find the little pieces to bring it all together, jewelry, gifts, personal touches etc.
