October 2020 Brides

I'm June 6 2020 but a friend of mine is October 10 2020! She also just booked her venue and photographer too funny!

Hey there! We are getting married October 23rd 2020. We opted to have a friday wedding. So far we have booked our venue, catering, and DJ are all included in a package through the venue. So we have a few things done. We have our guest list. I designed our save the dates and they are currently sitting in my shopping cart on vista prints- heads up they are having a 50% off sale right now!!making everything so cheap.
Meeting with a photographer next month. Probably wont look for a dress untill next year.
What about you? Have you looked at dresses? Save the dates?

DJ is next for us. We had our guest list planned right after we got engaged. I might add a few more people to it. Thanks for letting me know! We might get FH brother to shoot our engagement pics only cuz he can edit them at work instead of spending $$ on engagement pics. Just have our photographer shoot the wedding. We got some pictures in Disney (where he proposed) so we might think to use them for save the dates. I'm thinking of looking at dresses closer to October maybe. I'm trying to drop a few pounds so I have enough time to look good while trying dresses on.

my fiancé says he having difficulties finding a chapel that will book this early our celebration will be in Carson City or Virginia City Nevada. did anybody have these problems. we are keeping our small and intimate.

Hey date twin! Photographers were the toughest choice so far. We love having pictures so we wanted the best quality plus a nice photographer. I did a lot of research and we went with the photog who did his cousins wedding recently in April plus he is a preferred vendor at our venue so that made it even better

Hi All! We are deciding between two venues right now for October 10, 2020!

We live in NYC but getting married in South Florida (where we're from) and have a trip out there next weekend to tour the venues.

Everyone is saying I'm nuts for looking so early (just got engaged a month ago) but this date is SO POPULAR already. I want to get locked in!

Right now in between Oakland Park - it's basically Ft. Lauderdale and Palm Beach. Two different vibes but we really like both online. So fingers crossed we like one of them enough in person!

We're getting married Oct 9, 2020. We have our venue, my dress/shoes, his suit, and our wedding bands. We're doing a destination wedding, so theres not much to do as far as that goes. We've moved on to planning our reception dinner that will be happening before our wedding. We've chosen a venue for that and are working on the DJ, photographer and caterer.

Me too 10/10/20 I haven’t booked anything but I have appointments set thus coming weekend!

We're getting married October 17th, 2020! We have our officiant booked. I am doing a lot of the decoration myself and have bought a few things for it already and plan to have it all done before the end of the year. I have my dress. We are doing the deposit on our venue today!

I'm getting married October 3rd 2020. We already have our venue and I started on buying decorations. All this year will be taking care of decorations and next year will be my dress and other big things.

Just got engaged this past weekend (yay!!) and thinking about maybe October 2020... thoughts?? Too soon or doable?

We want a fall wedding (figured October would be perf), and fall 2021 seems so far away! I just don't want to be stressed out throughout the entire process if it's too soon.

Definitely want at least a portion of the event to be outdoors, so I wouldn't want it to be too cold outside - feel like November is when it starts to cross that threshold.

Hello! We are getting married 10-15-20. Yes, a Thursday evening wedding. We haven’t booked anything yet, but everything is narrowed down. Venue, photographer, videographer are all ready to be booked. Cake and catering we need to decide on. We want a friend to be the officiant so waiting on that. We have not really done a lot but have got the major big things. I’m so excited!

My Fiance and I are also getting married 10/10/2020. We knew it would be a popular date so we booked our church and venue last year when we got in engaged in the summer. Later in 2018 we booked our photographer/videographer. Early this year we booked our DJ. I have not yet started trying on dresses but I like looking online and in these threads . No decorations bought yet tiny details will be in 2020
