My Invites Will Be Sent In June And The RSVP Date Is August 1st. I Want To Have Time After RSVP's To Plan If There Is Less People Then I Invited, Also Time To Track Down Any Late RSVP's. Theyre Usually Sent 6-8 Weeks Prior. Also Take Into Consideration What Date Your Venue Needs The Final Count By Smiley smile

Our wedding is 10/10/2020. We are planning on purchasing our invites in May/June, sending in early July, RSVP date of September 1st so we have time to chase for a final headcount by September 10th.

I’m an October bride as well. I’m going to send mine out in June/July and have the deadline be August 1st because my vendor deadline for the food is August 25th.

We sent ours already. We’re having a destination wedding and we know that most of our guests are first responders, physicians, business owners, healthcare workers etc. and have to request their time off, quarterly.

So our wedding is 10/17/2020 and we have already ordered our paper invites and are doing digital RSVPs through our personal wedding website. We listed the link on the invites and instead of sending Save the Dates we are doing Save Your Seat as the invite to save money. We are requesting that people inform us as soon as possible and no later than July 31st because if they cannot attend we have others as well that we would have liked to have there. That may sound mean, but we cut a lot out who wanted to be there so if there is that chance for them, we want to provide it. It's also for the sake of our vendors and such.

You all make me feel so much better! I got some push back because my RSVP response seemed so “early”
My wedding is 10/17, so my FH and I planned on sending the invites out around June & then Aug 17 is the RSVP deadline so then we have like about 3 weeks before our caterer & alcohol head count is due to contact anyone who hasn’t RSVP’d back or for anyone if those “late” responders.
