Congratulations on being pretty much 10 months out! That was a big time for us, we finished booking all our vendors (besides baker & transportation) and sent out our save the dates! Yay!

We have our venue which includes the caterer, all rentals and bar, photographer, videographer, florist, HMUA, DJ, and photo booth booked. We're finalizing the hotel blocks this weekend and then I'm moving on to the coordinator next. She is contracted with the venue so I don't have to shop around but just work with her to figure out which package we need. I also got my dress a few weeks ago and have narrowed down the color from Azazie for the bridemaid dresses and groomsmens' ties, but I haven't given them the info quite yet. Our package at the venue also includes a cake from one of 4 local bakeries so we just have to do tastings and decide. The last few days we've been toying around with the idea of ice cream sandwiches along with the cake so I'm looking into vendors who can do that. We took our engagement photos last weekend so now we're just waiting for our photos back so we can get save the dates out in January. We have the guest list made but we're also working on collecting addresses now so that the save the dates are ready to print right after new years. I feel like we have a good handle on this so far and I'm feeling good about it! When we booked our venue we were 15 months out and the time is speeding by....

Venue which has food and alcohol package, photographer, dj, photobooth. Need to set up a hotel block and finalize a florist. Cake I will do later, as well as dress. Bridesmaid dresses won't be til much later, like late spring/early summer. Engagement session will be early spring to put photos on save the dates to send out.

I have my photographer, officiant and venue finalized, the catering and bridesmaids dresses in process, the stationery suite designed (just need to decide on printing) and my first bridal salon appointment booked for mid-December. I’m doing this DIY so I’m still working through ideas for flowers, cake, theme, decorations, etc. I’ve got a vision board started and am trying to narrow down options. We haven’t decided when to do engagement photos, but that’s a conversation I’m trying to put off until after the holidays.

I feel like you have to have a venue before you do anything else. We look at one more venue tomorrow and will choose and do our deposit. I have ideas on everything else just can't really book until venue is chosen. Congrats to all my fellow brides!

Omg, you girls are doing so amazingly well! I have the venue and working g in selecting the caterer. I’m going to my first dress gown appointment today to look at dresses. Photographer and DJ in progress as we are still looking at a couple of more people to see what fits our needs and budget. I’m getting so excited just by seeing your progress! I better hurry! Lol! 😍

So far I have the venue, the dress, photographer, & some decorations. I'm having the most trouble finding a caterer.

Hello my fellow brides!! I’ve got a lot of the big stuff done: venue, photographer/videographer, dj. I had a dress picked out and then while I waited to get my shoes and go back in to get measured, I started having second thoughts 😬😔 The dress I picked has 3/4 sleeves on it, and while it’s gorgeous, I really don’t know if I want to do sleeves or not. Yes, it’s a fall wedding and it’s outdoor, so sleeves might be nice. I’m worried about feeling restricted. I hate things on my armpits and I also feel like I should show my arms off. I have a nice body so I want to show it, know what I mean? I will have an a plunge neckline and open back, so it’s not like I’m too covered up, but I honestly can’t decide. I tried more dresses on yesterday and found one that’s just as gorgeous and doesn’t have sleeves AND is $300 cheaper. WHAT DO I DO???

This is precisely why I am not even going to bother looking yet. I'm indecisive and hibernating for the winter lol. I feel the same way about sleeves. While they can be gorgeous I do not think it is my vision even though it is October. When you say just as gorgeous, you imply it's not better? I would keep looking for one "better" to blow your sleeve idea completely out of your mind. Ya know what I mean. equally gorgeous or significantly better enough to change your mind, that wow factor. If you are second guessing sleeves now though, it probably is not what you truly want!

I feel you! Kinda dreading it actually. I have looked at pictures of the style I want and there are about a bajillion similar ones by different brands and within the same brand that could be the one so how do I choose I also think that I will be open to trying some different styles too which could fork everything up then. Lol you will get there though! Must be level headed about it! Best of luck

I might be postponing the date ladies....

I’m feeling way behind after seeing what all of you have accomplished. FH and I just now agreed on a venue. Have yet to book it, however. I feel lucky because my FH is in the entertainment industry and has close friends who are musicians, DJs, photographers, videographers. I’m hoping we can book them.

I’ve got my venue, photographer, day of coordinator, caterer, and my dress. Oct 20, 2019. Super excited now that we are under a year away.

I thought I’d found my dress but I went back to look more I ended up blowing my first choice out of the water in something I never thought I’d wear. You will find your dress don’t rush it too much
