October 17, 2021 Brides

I’m the weekend after the 17th and there’s still so much to do! We definitely drug our feet on a few important things like officiant and baker. Once we finally get those locked in we start scheduling meetings with our photographer, bar service, and DJ to get some more details in place. So stressful and so exciting! How’s everything going for you?! The 17th is my FW’s birthday ! 😁

My wedding is October 22. We still need to
Book our florist and baker. I feel like we are a bit behind but I have a full service planner so I’m just following her lead. Also I’m based on the east coast and the wedding is on the west coast so I can only do so much! Can’t believe we’re almost at the 6 month mark.

October 16th wedding and I’d like to say we are pretty on schedule ! All major vendors are booked, all that’s left is smaller details, like DIY decor and the overall timeline of events, amongst other things. I’ll be here before you know it !

October 17th here 🙌🏽. We have most things done (venue, florist, dj, photographer, my dress). The venue provides the cake so no worries there. I know there's so many little things to take care of but I'm not even really sure what to do next 😂. My bridesmaids keep asking me if I need help with anything and I don't know what to tell them.

Oh and I need a hair dresser. My current one isn't very reliable and I don't need her being late on my big day.

View Quoted Comment It’s going okay. We definitely had to lean into some stuff. We Booked the cater without a tasting, but I wasn’t that concerned and just put my faith in the planner. I’m most nervous about the hair and makeup artists. I will do a trial but not until I can get back to the west coast. I’m worried that if the trial doesn’t go well, it will be too close to the wedding to find someone else. We will see!

October 17th here (was Sept 2020 but postponed). We have all the big stuff booked and we’ve started thinking about our songs and ceremony format. I also have a wedding planner, who’s based in the location where the wedding is. We’re getting married in Europe and everything still seems so unsure with when they will allow vaccinated travelers so that’s made me keep procrastinating the planning. I’m starting to get worried we aren’t doing enough and need to start really focusing with our wedding planner and planning as if it will happen.

I'm October 23rd! I feel like we are pretty on track! We have about everything done. I'm focusing on my bridal shower at the moment. For my wedding I'm waiting to see if my dad is making my cake or if I need to order one and also bridal party flowers.

This is me right now! I need to pick a hair and make-up stylist, rehearsal dinner venue, and I'm just like "ehhh is it already time for that?" I will admit that I've enjoyed picking the big things over the little things lol

I understand how you feel! I think its normal given the times we're in. I think as long as you have the big stuff booked, everything will fall into place right on time. Good luck!

Congrats! We're working on our ceremony details and other little things. My wedding party hasn't asked me for details on my bridal shower yet but I believe its coming lol
