I would send save the dates around February/March and send invitations 8-12 weeks before the wedding

I would send save the dates right after the new year as your date will probably be the most popular date of 2020. As for invitations, send those 6-8 weeks before your wedding, with an RSVP date about a week before your final numbers are due (so you can track down any missing responses).

I agree with Nicole. We are the day after you, and are sending ours out the first week in January. Holiday weekend weddings have a suggested time frame farther out, since a lot of people travel.

I'm sending mine out at the end of this week for my 10/10/20 wedding. We've had them for a couple weeks and just never made time to go to the post office and get stamps. We're doing it a bit early because of hotel accommodation issues.

I am also getting married 10/10/2020. We sent ours out the first week of December as our date is the most popular of the year. Then we will send formal invites out 6-8 weeks in advance.
