My FH and I want to elope, and were originally thinking we'd do a basic court house type thing. Now one of my best friends has offered to officiate, which frees us up to have more options for where to do an elopement ceremony! We live in NYC, and I was thinking it would be really great to find a secluded, private rooftop space that has a garden but also a view of the skyline. I'm envisioning 3 types of photos: day time, sunset, and the skyline lit up.
Only problem is, I'm drawing a blank for exact locations. I keep thinking silly things like "sneak onto my old rooftop on Orchard St!" which is just ridiculous-- the view was good enough on that rooftop, but it was very utilitarian! LOL. That rooftop was just a place to smoke pot with my Occupy friends while people were hanging their laundry nearby.
Any suggestions for good spots?
