NWR: Premonition of Death

First of all- I am sorry this happened. I don't blame you for being worried or being upset but, hun only God knows where our time is done here.

I don't believe in people having those kinds of powers. I just don't. It's only normal for you to worry. I'd do the same but, try to relax.

Not quite the same but my dad told me years ago that men in his family don't usually live past the age of 60.

He'll be 61 this year. I dwell on the statement he made quite often.

I'm sorry you are dealing with this, I can't imagine the kind of stress and anxiety you are feeling. But I agree with Hannah. I'm not sure how your relationship with God is, but I would pray and ask for peace. You'll be in my prayers hun.

I was so mad... Like who the hell does this guy think he is??? He should have kept those thoughts to himself. Then after I was mad I started to wonder and get kind of scared. I'll try to just calm down.

Hey so .... it's hard to explain. But I have encountered people with dreams and had some myself. Some of which I feel have a lot of meaning. I'd say pray. Like PP have said, idk what your relationship or thoughts about God. But when something similar to that happens to me, I pray. Pray pray pray.

Thank you everyone. It is a strange feeling to have. I would definitely appreciate your prayers. I'm a real emotional person when it comes to my close family. Even the thought of losing him makes me crazy.

@JPCD I've had dreams of close people I love dying, but I've never had a dream of a distant relative dying. Did any of the dreams come true??

Don't think about this too much. Easier said then done. But, you are going to drive yourself crazy if you keep thinking

I had a dream last week I was marring a classmate that had died years ago instead of my fiancé then a few days later had a dream my best friend's cousin who is deceased was alive.

Prayers! I agree with PP, only God knows when our time is done on Earth, hopefully that will give you some peace of mind!

We're all gonna make this journey some day. Enjoy each day like it's your last. Don't worry about something that you have no control over.

What a dick move for someone to say that. I'd ignore that asap, as disturbing as it is. These matters are above us.

He is a real jerk for even mentioning that. I wouldn't worry, he isn't anyone to make such predictions and share them.

Just got a great night of sleep. I feel better! It was a rude thing for them to even mention... especially at a funeral. You guys are so awesome! I didn't want to bring this up to my friends because they love my dad too and I didn't want to freak them out.
