What do y'all think of PDA? Does it make you uncomfortable or are you not fazed by it at all?

@Future Mrs. G oh my god! i can't imagine the things you can't unsee on the MTA haha.

@Zaz seeing it between other people!

@Erin O. Haha your post made me laugh! The office def isn't a place for that!

@Constance my brother and his girlfriend love PDA and they know sometimes it makes me uncomfortable (depending what it is) so they do it on purpose in front of me. she will sit on his lap in front of me and it's so weird cause there are clearly chairs around!

A friend from high school recently posted up an Instagram story of her canoodling with her boyfriend and then filmed them both making out. Even though it's not in public it was so weird watching! I don't get why recording yourself making out with your boyfriend is pertinent for everyone on Instagram to see. I don't want to judge her for what she posts but it just made me super uncomfortable!

It doesn't bother me at all, and I honestly cannot fathom why it would bother anyone. If you prefer not to watch something, then move your eyes elsewhere. The same goes for clothing you think is ugly, houses that are painted colors you don't like, hairstyles or tattoos you wouldn't choose to wear, etc.

H and I don't make out in public, but we definitely hold hands, hug, and share short kisses. If I do see two people making out, I just chuckle to myself and think they must be really into each other and/or a bit tipsy.

I'm not picking on anybody, but I think it's pretty tragic that we live in a society where people could be so repressed that they were scared to even hug their life partner where others might see. It makes me legitimately sad to think of anyone living a life that devoid of basic affection.

It really depends on where you are and how inappropriate it is. At a park full of kids? Hand-holding, hugging, and pecking is cute. At a movie theater? Make-out to your heart's content, I don't care. At the club? Go ahead, baby, grind. Just no sex please.

My love and I are PDA all over the place. We're respectful of others, where we are, and what's going on, but we don't let others being present deter us from being affectionate.
