NWR - baby shower favors - necessary?

Ladies! NWR but throwing my first baby shower for my sister and was wondering - is it necessary to do favors? Gonna do a few gifts for whoever wins what games we play but don't really wanna buy favor for each guest trying to keep price down as this was completely unexpected. Lemme know what y'all think! TIA

We normally do a snack type favor. ( Chocolate covered pretzels, oreos, cake pops etc)

For gifts we had candles, small lotions from B&BW or something small and inexpensive. I don't think people expect much for the games.

We had a candy table at my baby shower. I wanted baby bottles of booze, but we did that as prizes instead.

I think chocolate covered pretzels can be done pretty inexpensively. That's what we did for my sister's shower.
