So, we have invited about 135 people to the wedding, of which, we know of 2 who can't come for certain and about 4-6 "maybes." In planning for the cake and the catering numbers, is it better to go up (and say we expect 150), go down (say we expect 120) or give the number of invitees (we are expecting 135)? I'm more inclined to go up, because we can always give the leftovers to the band members and the staff, and I don't want to run out of food.
