Our wedding is on October 10, 2020 at an all-inclusive venue in Las Vegas. The venue provided us details packages for decor, linen and menu options with pricing. We have created a spreadsheet with our desired options and upgrades and basically, have our minds set with what we want across the board. We have proposals and deposits for flowers (centerpieces and bridal), our cake, photographer, and Hair and Make-Up artist. We'll meet with the officiant early next year, who is also included in the package.
We don't meet with the venue again until about 6 months out from the wedding, which is 8 months away. Same for our food and cake tasting. We will likely do our engagement photos in late fall or early next year.
I'll probably start dress shopping in October or November, and prepare a draft of our Save the Dates and formal invitations around the same time, just in case there is a sale I could benefit from.
I feel like I have nothing wedding-related to do between now and next year!
What have you done to prepare for your wedding when you have a large gap between planning timelines/schedules?
I guess I could focus on my workout schedule! LOL
