November Brides!!

Where are y’all at with planning? We’re 5 months out & I feel like we have SOOO much to do. I still need to get my dress altered, make some final payments, tux fitting, buy the alcohol, not all my bridesmaids have ordered their dresses, we haven’t ordered invitations-due to not being sure on guest count at the moment. Am I missing something? With the virus, I feel I am at a stand still.

I was November last year, but by June I hadn’t done any of those things either. I think you’re ahead of schedule despite everything going on!

    November 21st here!

I’m one of those people who likes to get everything done as soon as possible so I only have to deal with little issues that arise. That being said, I’ve scheduled my alterations appointment but they wouldn’t do it before September. My groom and my father have ordered their suits from generation tux but his dad and groomsmen have not. Our final payments aren’t due until late October/early November and the venue is providing the alcohol. My invitations are sitting in our guest room with everything else because I ordered them on sale and with a coupon from Shutterfly.
But honestly, I could have waited to do a lot of those things. You’re not behind in any way. I will say the checklist from weddingwire helped a lot. Maybe double check it if you’re still feeling like you’re missing or forgetting something.

Well I am eloping with a couple of friends. Today we completed a big hurdle by finally telling his parents and sister ha ha ha. We are still doing a micro wedding locally but really most on my end is to wait for my new dress to come in and then get cups sewn in. Choose a place for us to take our two friends our for dinner afterwards, buy some items but somethings I am buying closer to the date such as the hanger, cake toppers. Have a consult for my hair and make up appointment before setting up the trial. I think I am on top of stuff and it seems like you are too because yeah 5 months will go fast ha ha. I may start buying a little something here and there.

I am sorry you are at a stand still and I do not know if you plan to continue forward if you cannot have all guests present but for sure get those outfits. I am getting together with my maid of honor soon so we can order hers just in case it takes time but at this point if burgundy was a more popular color during the summer and we could find in like TJ Maxx or Target I would say buy it there lol. Have you purchased any gifts or other decorations?

November 28th here! I have my dress but need alterations, none of the bridal party or my fiance has there stuff yet BUT we are set up with the selections. Still need to order decor, (music if we decide to), cake and invitations, and figure out what we are doing for food, as well as plan our second reception we are doing in my hometown. I have my venue. officiant, photo/videographers, and florist. I feel like I have so much to do but I can't do any of it yet because its either too early or due to money we have to wait another month or so.
